Alpha wolf concept is too furious for the pet food industry

In real wolf packs, there are no alphas, betas or other Greek letter designations for degrees of dominance and submission. Nevertheless, the concept of alpha male appears repeatedly in business leadership guides and advice, not to mention the misogynistic depths of the internet.

‘Fantastic’ pet food drive helps struggling military veterans in Calgary – Calgary

There’s a new effort underway to support struggling military veterans in Calgary and their four-legged friends.

MOMMS Premium Pet Foods is holding a pre-Remembrance Day pet food drive at its store in the Lake Bonavista neighborhood in southeast Calgary.

The store is turning over the donations it collects to the Veterans Association Food Bank (VAFB), which provides food to both veterans and their pets.
